The Shipping Inspector works under the direction of the Senior Manager, Warehouse and is responsible for executing and monitoring shipping inspection activities in accordance with EHS standards, company policies, and applicable regulations. This position ensures shipment accuracy, inventory control, and inventory integrity while supporting compliance, operational excellence, and high levels of customer satisfaction.

•Inspect outbound shipments for daily distribution routes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established shipping procedures.

•Reconcile Oracle shipping documentation and distribute records in accordance with required business processes to support order fulfillment and sales execution.

• Lead and coordinate the review and disposition process for Returned Merchandise (RM), Scrap, and Return to Vendor (RTV) inventory by verifying product quality, accuracy, and completeness of supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with company guidelines.

•Maintain inventory control and ensure all shipping, receiving, and transactional records are accurately processed and documented.

•Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, EHS standards, and all applicable safety regulations.

•Operate forklifts and perform warehouse-related activities as required to support daily operations and business needs.

•Monitor shipment and inventory transactions to ensure inventory integrity and adherence to operational requirements.

•Serve as backup for the Logistic Shipping Coordinator, providing operational support and continuity as needed.

•Ensure all outbound boxes are properly scanned, verified, and documented before route departure to maintain shipping accuracy, inventory control, and compliance with established procedures.

•Participate in special projects and perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

•Associate degree or a minimum of two years of college coursework preferred.

•Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities under pressure.

•Strong computer proficiency, including experience with warehouse and inventory management systems.

•Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while meeting deadlines and operational requirements.

•Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to delivering high-quality support to both internal and external customers.

•Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to achieving departmental goals.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.

•Minimum of two years of experience in warehouse, shipping, distribution, or logistics operations.

•Experience interacting with customers and consumers, including resolving inquiries and supporting service-related activities.

•Minimum of two years of forklift operating experience, with the ability to safely perform material handling activities in accordance with company safety standards.

•Ability to perform essential functions of the position, with or without an accommodation, including, but not limited to: Frequent sitting, standing, walking, twisting, grasping, and driving (forklift vehicle, other); occasional reaching overhead, reaching at shoulder level, reaching at waist level, reaching at knee and floor level, bending stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, climbing stairs/ladders, pivoting, pushing/pulling, pinching, and fine motor dexterity.  Handling and lifting parts and/or equipment – minimum of 55lbs. lifting, carrying 39 lbs., and pushing/pulling 43 lbf. is required.

•Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

•Working knowledge of English with the ability to effectively communicate in a business environment.

•Previous supervisory experience, including the ability to lead teams, coordinate work activities, and support employee performance and development.
