Job Description:

Located in the heart of Rittenhouse Square, Uchi is known for its award-winning approach to sushi and hospitality.

• →Acquaint yourself with our menu, current specials, and Japanese cuisine.
• →Learn and perfect your sushi techniques under the guidance of our skilled Chef teams.
• →Understand proper handling and waste reduction of product
• →Interact with guests at the sushi bar; take orders, explain dishes, and cultivate an amazing experience for yourself and the guest
• →Learn our various sushi stations and progress as your knowledge and skills grows
• →Collaborate with our teams to create dishes that will be showcased on our specials page and core menu!

• Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and other employees
• Detect and identify safety issues, and comply with safety guidelines and standards
• Lift and carry trays, dishes, equipment, and goods up to 50 lbs, stock inventory, and perform restocking duties
• Must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Bend, stoop, and reach to access various areas and items

• Ability to work in a variety of temperatures, both hot and cold
