Haley Ward is looking for a CAD Drafter / Designer for our Port St Lucie, FL office. The CAD Drafter / Designer will perform computer-aided design and drafting for preparation of engineering drawings for permitting and construction purposes, including but not limited to: creation of erosion control, paving, grading, drainage, water, wastewater, signage and striping, maintenance of traffic, details, sections, plan / profiles, for Civil-Site projects.

What you can expect to be doing:

• Working with engineers to develop drawing content and presentations
• Analyzing sketches, notes, layouts, details, and verbal instructions to determine the best approach for completion of drawings
• Assisting in review of shop drawings prepared by outside vendors/suppliers to confirm materials are in compliance with the design drawings
• Applying company CADD standards and procedures for layering, sheet layout, etc.
• Coordinating details and dimensions between drawing sheets

What you will need to succeed:

• Minimum of five years of experience in Civil-Site drafting.
• Knowledge of drafting principles and plan set assembly is required
• Working knowledge of computer programs such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Word, Excel, Revit is required
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions, ability to clearly communicate information both verbally and in writing. Must be fluent in English.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
