LEAD ESTHETICIAN | HANDS-ON SKINCARE + TEAM COACHING

Bring your treatment-room expertise and help other estheticians become stronger practitioners. Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa in Panama City Beach is seeking an experienced working Lead Esthetician who can deliver thoughtful skincare, build repeat client relationships, and coach a team to consistent service and sales standards.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS — PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING
• A current, active Florida facial specialist or full specialist registration, or Florida cosmetologist license authorizing facial services. Students, pending applicants, inactive credentials, and out-of-state-only credentials do not meet this opening’s requirement.
• At least 3 years of paid, hands-on professional esthetics experience. School clinics and unpaid training do not count toward this minimum.
• At least 1 year of responsibility coaching, onboarding, or training other estheticians in a professional setting. A Lead title is not required; direct coaching responsibility is.
• Experience conducting skin consultations, selecting appropriate services, recognizing contraindications, following sanitation and treatment protocols, and explaining home-care recommendations.
• Demonstrated responsibility for retail/home-care recommendations, appropriate service upgrades, and client retention.
• Availability for a full-time, on-site role with evening and weekend coverage. Specific shifts will be discussed during the hiring process.
• Professional liability insurance required before performing services.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN
• Maintain your own facial-service clientele and deliver safe, consistent services within your credential, training, and spa protocols.
• Coach estheticians through demonstrations, observation, specific feedback, and follow-up. Help new team members learn protocols and build confidence.
• Support consistent consultations, service quality, sanitation, treatment documentation, and guest follow-through.
• Teach client-centered recommendations for home care, appropriate upgrades, and rebooking; review results with the manager and help the team improve.
• Model reliability, teamwork, accountability, and a willingness to accept coaching yourself.

This is a working leadership role with both client services and team development responsibilities. We are looking for concrete examples of how you improved a colleague’s skills, a client’s experience, or your own service and retail results.

COMPENSATION AND SUPPORT
The advertised $30–$45 per hour range represents total earning potential under the spa’s performance-based compensation structure, including applicable service pay, upgrades, retail commissions, gratuities, and bonuses. It is not a guaranteed base hourly rate. Actual earnings vary with services performed, bookings, and results; the pay formula and paid leadership responsibilities will be explained during the hiring process.
