Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for:

  • →Safely and professionally removing, installing, cleaning, calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting various electrical and instrumentation equipment, including transmitters, transducers, meters, relays, switches, and control systems.
  • →Diagnosing and resolving electrical and instrumentation issues, working on equipment such as switchgears, control panels, control valves, transformers, motor starters, and UPS systems.
  • →Operating industrial equipment, including forklifts and man lifts, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • →Maintaining pneumatic and motor-operated valves and actuators.
  • →Reading and interpreting electrical, pneumatic, piping, and instrumentation diagrams to enhance workflow and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • In-depth knowledge of plant equipment, particularly transmitters and control valves.
  • Familiarity with motor controls and lighting circuits.
  • Working knowledge of voltages up to 600V.
  • An understanding of environmental regulations to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Awareness of electrical arc flash and shock hazards (NFPA 70E) with the ability to select appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Proficient in using hands and arms for handling, installing, and positioning materials and equipment.
  • Comfortable climbing ladders and performing tasks at elevated heights while utilizing safety harnesses.
  • Able to navigate multiple flights of stairs while carrying equipment.
  • Willingness to work outdoors or in process units in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces for extended durations while wearing necessary personal protective equipment.
