E/I Designer

• →Familiarity with and utilizing department design and drafting standards.
• →Familiarity with project scope, specifications and design criteria upon assignment to a project task team.
• →Producing installation details, motor control center single lines, electric room layouts, motor control elementaries, connection diagrams, cable schedules, control panel layouts and grounding, lighting, power and instrumentation plans under minimal supervision.
• →Recognizing and communicating scope and design changes promptly.
• →Providing on-site assistance during startup.

• Demonstrated experience revising and maintaining engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience supporting Management of Change (MOC) processes.
• Familiarity with Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements related to Process Safety Information (PSI).
• Ability to interpret:
  • P&IDs
  • Instrument Loop Drawings
  • Logic Diagrams
  • Cause & Effect Matrices
  • Electrical Schematics
  • Control System Documentation
• Proficiency with CAD and engineering design software.
• Experience with intelligent plant design systems such as:
  • Hexagon Smart Instrumentation
  • Smart P&ID
  • SmartPlant Foundation / SDx
  • AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of instrumentation and control systems used in continuous process facilities.

• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
