About the Role
~1 min readThe Harper Group is seeking a skilled and dependable Tradeshow Carpenter to support booth construction and installation for an upcoming tradeshow. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on carpentry experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in building high-quality, visually appealing displays. You will play a critical role in bringing booth designs to life, ensuring structural integrity and a polished final presentation.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Construct, assemble, and dismantle tradeshow booths, displays, and fixtures according to design specifications
- →Measure, cut, and install wood, laminate, and other materials with precision
- →Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or setup instructions
- →Ensure all structures are safe, secure, and aligned with event regulations
- →Collaborate with setup, merchandising, and design teams to meet deadlines
- →Perform on-site adjustments and repairs as needed during installation
- →Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
- →Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Requirements

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines in a team environment
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods
