About the Role

HJ Staffing is seeking compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to perform complex vocational nursing care for our residents. Working under the supervision of the Unit RN and Unit Nurse Manager, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality, hands-on care and supporting our resident community.

This is an immediate-start, 24-week minimum contract position with competitive scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • →Patient Care & Treatment: Administer medications and treatments efficiently; provide medication education to residents and complete accurate, detailed medical documentation.
  • →Clinical Skills: Perform advanced nursing tasks, including gastrostomy tubes/enteral feedings, Foley catheter management, tracheostomy care, and other direct care duties.
  • →Documentation & Data Entry: Maintain precise electronic health records and complete computer data entry (full facility-specific training provided).
  • →Collaboration: Partner with Unit RNs, Nurse Managers, and interdisciplinary care teams to maintain safety and high care standards.

Requirements

  • License: Current, unencumbered Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license to practice in the State of Texas.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of direct care nursing experience (2+ years preferred).
  • Clinical Skills: Demonstrated competency in advanced clinical care (G-tubes/enteral feedings, Foley catheters, tracheostomy care).
  • Identification: Valid government-issued photo ID.
  • Certifications: Current CPR certification.
  • Health & Clearance:
    • Up-to-date TB test documentation.
    • Ability to pass a urine drug screen and background check (provided by agency/candidate).
    • Ability to pass an FBI fingerprint background check (provided by facility).
