Accounting Intern

- Perform internal control procedures that include audits for fixed assets, petty cash, packing slips and inventory cycle counts
- Provide support for master data clean-up including vendor, customer and product records
- Assist with preparation for external audits
- Perform month end Balance Sheet and Income statement reconciliations
- Perform ERP system testing
- Assist in month end consolidation through data formatting and entry
- Assist in creation of the month end financial statements
- Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables with back-up coverage as needed
- Assist with various projects as assigned

- Working Under Pressure - Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.
- Must be enrolled in a 4-year program pursuing an Accounting, Finance, or related degree
- Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
- Must be at least a sophomore or second year student in the degree program being pursued
- Must possess the ability to work a flexible schedule
- Must possess working knowledge of Excel and spreadsheet creation
- Must possess the ability to self-direct
- Must possess the ability to work in fast-paced environment, effective time management.
