Engineering Intern

In this position, the co-op will be exposed to a variety of mechanical design and development engineering functions.

Work with AutoCAD and Creo (Pro Engineer) to create/revise part and assembly drawings and 3D models.

Assist in consolidating and updating product family drawings.

Assist in obsoleting legacy product drawings and part numbers.

Observe that all applicable quality standards are met in the product.

Perform other tasks and projects as assigned.

Mechanical Engineering or related course of study preferred.

Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0 recommended.

Strong PC skills (spreadsheets, databases, word processing) a must.

Experience in metalworking and fabricating environment a positive.

Hands-on experience with CAD technology is a strong positive (AutoCAD, Creo Pro Engineer).

Experience performing DFMEAs a positive.

Study of automatic/hand welding a positive.

Excellent mechanical aptitude.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Introduction to GD&T a positive.
