IT Operations Intern (Summer 2027)

• Endpoints (laptops, desktops), Network infrastructure, VOIP phone systems, printers/copiers, Engineering and non-Engineering software and general support for 7 U.S. and 2 international sites

1. Installation and setup of new computers, thin clients and users
2. Proper disposal of old equipment – reimaging and user data backup/restorations
3. Installation of profile-specific items including email, network printers, specialty software, etc.
4. Purchase of I.T. equipment and supplies (laptops, desktops, flat panels toner, etc.)
5. Phone system support
6. Configuration of network equipment including switches and cabling
7. Support of core security technologies including Anti-virus, DLP, patching, VPN
8. Management of objects within AD
9. General support and troubleshooting

• Current studies in the field of I.T. with a concentration in networking or infrastructure

• Current studies in the field of I.T. with a concentration in networking or infrastructure
• Experience with currently supported Microsoft operating systems at both the desktop and server level
• Basic understanding of network concepts
• Knowledge with terminating and testing cables
• Project-orientation
• Strong customer-service orientation
• Effective communication skills

• Ability to travel to division and plant sites as required (limited to none).
• Frequent sitting, work at computer for extended periods of time.

• Office setting.
• Exposure to cold data rooms where equipment is located.
• Exposure to suspended cabinets requiring training and use of company lifts.
• Plant floor environment requires the wearing of protective equipment.

• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Must exhibit the highest professionalism, self-initiative, enthusiasm, and work ethic.
• Customer service skills: Ability to demonstrate patience and understanding when helping users of IT services.
