• →Assist with bathing using the client's shower chair
• →Provide incontinence care
• →Assist with transfers and mobility as needed
• →Prepare meals and provide feeding assistance
• →Provide companionship and engage the client in activities she enjoys
• →Assist with light household chores, including:
  • →Vacuuming
  • →Sweeping
  • →Laundry
  • →Washing dishes
• →Provide gentle reminders and supervision due to mild dementia
• →Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment

Schedule

• →3–5 days per week
• →2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• →Consistent scheduling to be coordinated with the family

• Experience with stroke recovery, wheelchair care, and personal care preferred
• Comfortable providing incontinence care and bathing assistance
• Experience with dementia care and redirection is a plus
• Patient, compassionate, and attentive
• Physically capable of assisting with transfers safely
• Reliable and dependable

This role is best suited for a helper who is experienced with hands-on personal care and mobility support and can provide patient, compassionate assistance to a client recovering from stroke while managing mild dementia.
