POSITION SUMMARY:
The Vice President, Talent Development & Engagement sets the enterprise strategy for training, leadership and talent development, employee engagement, and culture. As a senior Human Resources leader, this role partners with the executive team and business leaders to build a high-performing, inclusive workforce; strengthen the employee experience; accelerate leadership readiness; and translate business priorities into measurable people strategies. The Vice President leads the teams, programs, platforms, insights, and governance required to deliver scalable development and engagement outcomes across the organization.

- Define and lead the enterprise talent development and employee engagement strategy in alignment with business priorities, culture, and workforce needs.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team and senior leaders on training, organizational effectiveness, culture, and engagement.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team responsible for leadership development, learning, onboarding, engagement, organizational development, program operations, and content governance.
- Build and oversee enterprise leadership and talent development frameworks, including executive and manager development, succession enablement, career growth, onboarding, and critical capability-building initiatives.
- Own the employee listening and engagement strategy, including surveys, lifecycle feedback, action planning, leader accountability, and enterprise reporting.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to translate workforce insights, business strategy, and capability gaps into practical, measurable solutions that improve performance and retention.
- Shape culture and employee experience initiatives that strengthen connection, inclusion, recognition, and organizational effectiveness across diverse employee populations.
- Oversee talent and learning technologies, analytics, content ecosystems, and governance to improve access, adoption, compliance, and user experience.
- Establish success measures and use engagement, talent, learning, and business data to evaluate impact, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead enterprise change and transformation initiatives through stakeholder alignment, communication, capability building, and adoption strategies.
- Manage the function's budget, external partners, and resource allocation, ensuring disciplined investment and measurable return.
- Provide the executive team and other key stakeholders with clear updates on strategy, progress, outcomes, risks, and recommendations.

- Fluency with talent, learning, engagement, and digital experience platforms and scalable delivery models.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Education, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in talent development, learning and development, organizational development, employee engagement, or a related field, including significant enterprise leadership experience.
- Demonstrated success developing and executing enterprise talent, leadership, learning, culture, and engagement strategies that produced measurable business outcomes.
- Experience advising executives and leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives across complex, multi-site organizations.
- Experience with employee listening, engagement surveys, talent analytics, action planning, and executive-level reporting.
- Experience leading talent and learning technologies, including LMS platforms, survey or listening tools, reporting, and content management processes.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred unless otherwise required by business need.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence executives, facilitate alignment, and build strong partnerships across the organization.
