Account Director (Print + Retail Displays / Fixtures), Istanbul

Purpose of the job Our Account Directors are responsible for the development and nurturing of our client accounts. The role is essential in strengthening our relationship with the client(s) and identifying growth opportunities for the business, as well as ensuring solutions are developed and delivered on time and against operational and financial business targets. You will take full responsibility for the strategic and operational management of the account under your responsibility and manage the performance of the team, ensuring all work is completed in line with the SLA. You’ll be a capable leader who can focus on both the strategic vision of the account as well as the daily activities of delivering operational excellence. You'll need in-depth experience of working with clients and delivering ongoing solutions to resolve their challenges as well as the skills to develop client accounts, nurture relationships, converting opportunities and manage a team. Our current areas of service delivery to this Beverage sector client are Permanent Point of Sale Materials, Branded Merchandise and Print - these products are all procured so procurement experience would be beneficial. This role operates on a blended basis between the local HH Global office, client / vendor site(s) and home as necessary - you would spend c3 days per week with our client in Istanbul so need to be local. Key responsibilities Play a leading role in the delivery of client satisfaction through client liaison and the management of internal resource departments, your client engagement team and external suppliers Own and resolve issues, quality concerns or corrective actions - influence client thinking to produce outstanding results Manage the ongoing personal development of your team members through appraisals, one‐to‐one meetings, mentoring and training Develop effective account growth strategies and manage opportunities for the client, building yearly development plans and managing the overall financial performance and success of the account Regular MI reporting, production of account relationship plans, risk identification and management Relationship Management with all key stakeholders Contract review and renewal Procurement and bid / tender activities Knowledge, skills + experience Exceptional and in-depth client service management experience, including time spent working on client site(s), developing and maintaining client relationships and across multiple vendors Experience in the service / category areas shown above would be of great benefit Has built client success delivering account planning, client service plans, KPIs, budgeting, forecasting and strategic account leadership People Management experience including performance management and team leadership A proven track record of operational management for client services departments, P+L / budget management and account financial reporting Success presenting account planning and strategy for retention, growth and added value, anticipating internal / external business issues and developing risk mitigation strategies Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, presentation), with clarity of expression and the ability to present to and influence various stakeholder groups at all levels of seniority Excellent English language skills are required #LI-Hybrid #LI-PL1
