Opioid Treatment Program Clinician - Sign On Bonus Eligible

• Must present as courteous and professional at all times
• Demonstrated flexibility and ability to perform multiple tasks
• Must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to organize ideas in logical and clear fashion
• Knowledge of basic computer skills and software programs including the ability to learn, use and train HPAHO`s electronic medical records
• Must have the ability to work with others in cooperative and collaborative manner
• An understanding of the relationship between substance use and mental health issues and/or self-help programs
• An understanding of boundaries and ethics
• Comply with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Alcohol Abuse Policy and HIPAA Regulations and best practice processes and protocol in the provision of highest quality client care
• TB screening
• Certification in the HPAO approved de-escalation program
• CPR Certification (minimum one per shift, all staff on IPS)
• Ability to engage and maintain a therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Knowledge of major clinical therapeutic models and behavioral health best practice
• Knowledge of DSM-V diagnostic criteria

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in related field;
• Experience working with substance use disorder populations;
• Experience working in Opioid Treatment Programs preferred

• →Provide direct services to clients, which will include but not limited to evaluations of clients; Individual, group and/or family counseling, crisis management, and aftercare planning;
• →Comply with all chart documentation in a timely manner;
• →Comply with state and federal SAMHSA/OTP regulations related to care and treatment of methadone patients;
• →Participate Multidisciplinary Treatment Team and Utilization Review;
• →Assist in development and updating of clinical and psycho- educational programs;
• →Participate in supervision as scheduled;
• →Maintain and document collateral contacts with other community organizations as needed, including probation, parole, DCF etc.;
• →Submit reports to collateral contacts as required;
• →Facilitate appropriate referrals and follow up as appropriate;
• →Utilize standard precautions at all times;
• →Demonstrates behaviors that recognize the rights of patients/clients as defined by the patient’s right;
• →Attend all unit, facility meeting and case conferences as director by Supervisor
• →Attend mandatory training;
• →Other duties as assigned by the Program/Clinical Directors and/or COO.
