• →Design and specify detailed fire alarm and suppression systems adhering to local, state, and national codes, regulations, and standards. 
• →Perform field surveys and attend project specific meetings
• →Conduct thorough reviews of architectural and engineering drawings to ensure compatibility of design. 
• →Provide expert technical advice and solutions to complex design challenges. 
• →Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and client teams to ensure specifications and designs meet quality and safety standards.
• →Manage and oversee multiple design projects from concept through completion  
• →Obtain permits as required, including all related duties such as preparation, delivery, corrections, etc.
• →Maintain strong working relationships with the Hiller technicians and office staff to facilitate effective communications and exceptional customer service
• →Stay updated with latest technologies and changes in fire protection regulations.
• →Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required; NICET Level III certification in Fire Alarm Systems preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing fire alarm systems.
• Extensive experience with AutoCAD and any other relevant design software.
• Demonstrated knowledge of fire protection systems and applicable codes (NFPA, IBC, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and in a remote setting, managing time effectively and meeting project deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
