Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager with AutoCAD expertise to support complex modernization and construction-related projects across multiple sites.

This is not a traditional drafting role. Instead, this position sits at the intersection of project management, technical design, and operational coordination. You will act as a central point of control—ensuring projects progress on schedule, designs are accurate, and all stakeholders remain aligned.

Key Responsibilities
1. Project Management & Coordination (Primary Focus)
Manage multiple projects simultaneously across various stages
Track schedules, deliverables, and dependencies
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams
Maintain and update project schedules using tools such as Primavera or similar
Communicate project status, risks, and changes proactively
Support daily execution and weekly planning activities
2. AutoCAD Design & Layout Support
Develop and update layout drawings using AutoCAD
Create designs based on field data and existing structural conditions
Prepare and submit drawings for review and approval
Revise designs based on feedback and evolving project needs
Ensure accuracy and real-world alignment of all drawings
3. Submittals & Documentation Management
Manage submittal processes with contractors and stakeholders
Coordinate drawing revisions and approvals
Support scope reviews, equipment specifications, and proposal alignment
Maintain organized and up-to-date project documentation
4. Scheduling & Execution Tracking
Develop and maintain short-term and long-term project schedules
Coordinate equipment delivery, labor planning, and permit timelines
Align schedules with operational constraints and dependencies

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with technical leads, operations, and field teams
Participate in daily updates and weekly planning meetings
Escalate risks and ensure alignment across all stakeholders

Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiables)
Proven project management experience in construction, engineering, or similar environments
Strong hands-on AutoCAD skills (layout creation and editing)
Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
High level of organization, accountability, and follow-through
Strong communication skills across diverse stakeholders
Proactive, responsive, and comfortable in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications
Background in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management
Experience with scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera or equivalent)
Experience with submittals and contractor coordination
Exposure to industrial or infrastructure projects
Familiarity with elevator systems is a plus (not required)
