CPQ Developer - Dotnet

The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a global competence center with over 2600 engineers delivering innovative digital and engineering solutions. We are looking for a Backend Developer to support the development, modernization, and deployment of next-generation Sales Configurator and CPQ solutions that enable product configuration, pricing, BOM generation, visualization, and enterprise integrations.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework/.NET Core, and Web APIs.
• Develop backend services and microservices for Sales Configurator and CPQ platforms.
• Design and implement REST APIs and integrations with Salesforce, SAP, MuleSoft, and other enterprise systems.
• Build and optimize business logic for product configuration, pricing, BOM generation, and document generation.
• Design secure, scalable, and high-performance application architectures following industry best practices.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and data models.
• Collaborate with frontend teams working on ReactJS, JavaScript, and Three.js-based applications.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, release deployments, and application lifecycle activities across Development, Test, UAT, and Production environments.
• Participate in Agile development activities, code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring on-time delivery.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, or a related field.
• 4-8 years of hands-on experience in .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET Core, and Web API development.
• Strong understanding of Enterprise Application Architecture, Microservices, Design Patterns, and Scalable Systems.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and enterprise integrations.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, database design, and query optimization.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based application deployment.
• Good understanding of ReactJS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern web application development.
• Exposure to CPQ, Product Configurator, Sales Configurator, or similar enterprise solutions is preferred.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
