Inventory Lead - 3rd Shift

In this role, you will lead a small team while ensuring inventory accuracy, material availability, and efficient warehouse operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will be a key contributor to operational excellence by coordinating inventory transactions, conducting audits and cycle counts, resolving discrepancies, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. • Lead, coach, and support 3rd shift inventory team members to achieve safety, quality, and operational goals.

• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory activities to maintain accurate inventory records.

• Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

• Coordinate receiving, put-away, picking, and material staging activities to support production requirements.

• Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment while promoting a safety-first culture.

• Maintain accurate inventory transactions and records within ERP and warehouse management systems.

• Partner with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that optimize inventory processes, improve efficiency, and reduce waste.

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Minimum of 3 years of inventory control, warehouse, or materials management experience, including leadership or lead experience.

• Experience using ERP and Warehouse Management Systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.

• Strong understanding of inventory management principles, cycle counting, and inventory accuracy processes.

• Valid forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification, with experience operating material handling equipment.

• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently on an overnight shift.
