Hitachi Energy is seeking a Production Manager for the Business Unit Transformers to join our innovative and forward-thinking team. In this role, you will oversee production in Dry & Traction factory, Savli, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness while managing plant equipment, personnel, and processes. - Develop and implement capacity plans to align production with business goals and optimize resource use.
- Drive operational performance by setting goals, tracking KPIs, and embedding lean manufacturing principles.
- Adjust production schedules to meet customer delivery deadlines, coordinating resources for seamless operations.
- Manage the production budget, monitoring costs, and identifying opportunities for efficiency and savings.
- Oversee the allocation of materials, equipment, and workforce to maximize productivity and reduce waste.
- Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with industry standards and internal quality requirements.
- Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, lower costs, and reduce waste.
- Foster a safety-first culture by enforcing HSE standards, conducting inspections, and promoting safe work practices.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous growth.
