  • Manage the end-to-end design process, translating business requirements into architectural and engineering solutions for industrial, manufacturing, and office facilities.

  • Evaluate, appoint, and manage architects, engineering consultants, and specialized service providers to ensure high-quality project outcomes.

  • Drive vendor evaluation, tendering, bid management, and techno-commercial assessment processes while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Prepare and manage project budgets, cost estimates, cash flow projections, and capital expenditure plans for annual budgeting and project approvals.

  • Monitor project progress, report regularly to stakeholders, resolve issues proactively, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams and oversee multiple concurrent projects while maintaining project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and safety requirements.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental standards.

  • Manage lease administration activities for leased facilities, including renewals, terminations, and associated approval documentation.

  • Support the continuous improvement of real estate project management processes and standards across the organization.

  • Develop and mentor team members through coaching, performance feedback, and effective delegation to build a high-performing organization.

  • Live Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for actions while caring for colleagues, customers, and the business.

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management, or a related discipline. A postgraduate qualification is preferred.

  • Significant 20+ years of experience in real estate, industrial construction, project management, or facility development within a large multinational or industrial environment.

  • Strong expertise in managing greenfield and brownfield construction projects from concept through completion.

  • Proven experience in site selection, design management, contractor management, tendering, and commercial evaluations.

  • Knowledge of project budgeting, cost control, capital expenditure planning, and financial management principles.

  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and leading cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Strong understanding of construction safety standards, regulatory requirements, and risk management practices.

  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive results in a fast-paced and complex business environment.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
