Minnesota Oral and Facial Surgery is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dedicated team. https://www.mnofs.com/ 

 

Minnesota Oral and Facial Surgery is a surgical practice that is driven by delivering the highest quality and compassionate surgical care to its patients. Our practice is led by Deepak Kademani, a nationally recognized oral and maxillofacial surgeon and offers a broad scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery and head and neck surgery including cosmetic and trauma related facial surgery.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Minnesota.
  • Certification by the appropriate national certifying body (AANP, ANCC, NCCPA).
  • Previous experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery, or a surgical specialty preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel to satellite offices.
  • New and experienced graduates welcome to apply

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Operative Assessment and Preparation:
    • Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments, including detailed medical histories and physical examinations.
    • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
    • Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures, expected outcomes, and post-operative care.
  • Surgical Assistance:
    • Assist surgeons during procedures
  • Post-Operative Care:
    • Provide immediate post-operative care and including wound management
  • Patient Management and Education:
    • Counsel patients on pre- and post-operative instructions
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work collaboratively with surgeons
    • Work collaboratively with another Nurse Practitioner.
  • Travel to Satellite Offices:
    • Periodic travel to our satellite offices
    • Be available for shared on-call duties during weekends and evenings as needed.
