What We Offer
~1 min read- Shifts available: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
- This is a hybrid position and requires up to 24 hours per week on-site in our Oakton Office.
- Serve as a first point of contact for employee HR questions, including the shared HR inbox, with a strong customer service focus.
- Initiate onboarding and conduct new employee orientation so new hires are prepared for early success.
- Serve as the internal contact for benefits administration and support Benefits Open Enrollment and employee recognition programs.
- Process employee separations, employment verifications, and pay-related issues in partnership with payroll and finance.
- Partner with the HR Business Partner to administer leaves of absence and accommodations.
- Manage compliance deadlines, including Virginia New Hire Reporting, I-9 reverification, OSHA Form 300A, and labor law postings, and administer workers' compensation and unemployment claims.
- Maintain personnel files and HR system data integrity, and complete standard HR and workforce reporting.
- Support recruitment and selection and the performance appraisal process.
- Support strategic plan HR/workforce initiatives and/or projects.

- Demonstrated high ethical standards, integrity and professionalism
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field
- 3+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience; a combination of education and experience is considered
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office and HRIS systems, and comfort learning new technical systems
- Exceptional judgment, attention to detail, organization, and independence in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build trusted working relationships with employees and leadership, with high ethical standards and professionalism
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification, preferred
- Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, human services, or another highly regulated environment, preferred
