The Commerce Platform Support Specialist focuses on the day-to-day operation and configuration of the CloudBlue Commerce platform. Working closely with Delivery, Product, Support, QA, and Engineering teams, you'll assist with partner onboarding, catalog management, integrations, troubleshooting, and operational requests.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in technical support, platform operations, or SaaS environments who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and using automation and AI tools to work more efficiently.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Configure and support the commerce platform services, offers, product catalogs, pricing, subscriptions, and partner environments
- →Support partner and product onboarding, migrations, catalog updates, integrations, and lifecycle management activities
- →Work on operational requests received through tickets, email, and delivery projects coordinated by Project Managers or Service Delivery Managers
- →Troubleshoot platform, integration, data, and operational issues in collaboration with Support, Product, QA, and Engineering teams
- →Help maintain accurate and consistent information across commerce, billing, provisioning, CRM, and identity systems
- →Develop and maintain scripts and simple automation tools using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar technologies
- →Automate repetitive tasks related to validation, reporting, deployment, platform operations, and service delivery
- →Support API integrations, testing activities, and validation of platform changes and releases
- →Use AI tools to assist with troubleshooting, documentation, process automation, data analysis, and operational improvements
- →Create and update standard operating procedures, technical documentation, and knowledge-base articles
- →Identify practical ways to improve existing processes, reduce manual work, and increase operational reliability
- →Participate in technical assessments, small implementation projects, and problem-solving exercises as part of platform delivery activities
- →Support other tasks or projects as assigned to meet team and business needs
- Experience in technical support, SaaS operations, commerce platforms, subscription management, service delivery, or a related technical environment
- Experience with SaaS commerce, marketplace, billing, provisioning, or subscription management platforms
- Understanding of SaaS products, subscriptions, product catalogs, billing, provisioning, partner onboarding, and integrations
- Hands-on experience with scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or a similar language
- Experience working with APIs, system integrations, testing, and data validation
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Interest in leveraging AI tools to improve technical and operational workflows
- Ability to translate delivery requirements into practical technical solutions and support projects through different implementation stages
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams
- Organized, curious, and proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
- Experience with Microsoft CSP, Adobe, AWS, Google Cloud, or other cloud partner ecosystems is considered an asset
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, operational monitoring, onboarding, migration, or platform implementation projects is a plus
- Cloud, scripting, automation, or AI-related certifications are an advantage
