Business Solution Architect – PLM / PP-CO

The Business Architect's architecture is the "connective tissue" that integrates strategies across multiple programs and projects and ensures alignment with business strategies and outcomes. This "connective tissue" is a series of explicit graphical models that define and describe the goals the business is trying to achieve, the processes needed to meet these goals, the data required, and the roles and responsibilities involved.

A key focus of this role is on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Bill of Materials (BOM), Product Design, and Financial Product Costing, ensuring end-to-end alignment between product definition, engineering, manufacturing, and financial performance across the product lifecycle.

Architects design processes and documentation that align business practices with strategic goals. The role involves leading implementations, optimizing supply chain processes, and integrating AI technologies to enhance business planning and decision-making.

They produce supporting materials such as maps, models, process diagrams, and presentations to communicate their vision and guide stakeholders. They also support consultations to assess business capabilities, define goals, and communicate designs to executives, managers, and end users.
