Responsibilities

→Plans installations to minimize waste
→Provides access for future maintenance; meets all specifications and electrical codes
→Measures, cuts, bends, threads, and installs electrical conduit
→Pulls wiring through conduit and connects to distribution panels, lighting fixtures and power equipment
→Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches; relays and circuit breaker panels
→Observes installed equipment to detect hazards and need for adjustments, relocation and/or replacement
→Repairs faulty equipment and systems, including repairing of circuit boards (DC drivers)
→Maintains good housekeeping in work area
→Follows all safety procedures and policies and advises supervisor of any unsafe conditions
→Any other duties requested by supervisor

Requirements

Proficiency in the use of electrical meters, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hacksaws, pipe threaders, conduit benders and soldering irons
Must have experience in the installation and use of electrical wire, conduit, relays, fuses, DC drivers, AC drives, terminals, stripes, resistors, diodes, circuit boards, and blueprints
5 years’ experience in the electrical/electronic field with license/certification
Time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent communication skills
Strong team player
