Responsibilities

→Execute foreign currency buy and sell transactions efficiently to maximize portfolio value.
→Prospect, build, and maintain client relationships through self-generated leads and cross-departmental leads.
→Monitor live foreign exchange levels, rate movements, and global market trends to advise the Head Trader on optimal market entry and exit points.
→Coordinate directly with the Forex Back Office to streamline trade execution, documentation, and settlement processes.
→Ensure full operational alignment and adherence to Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) foreign exchange rules and regulatory guidelines.
→Attend industry seminars, workshops, and training to continuously upgrade currency market expertise and technical trading skills.
→Perform additional trading-related tasks and operational duties as assigned by the Forex Department Head.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree graduate of any 4-year course.
Work Experience: At least 1 year of professional experience within the banking or financial services industry.
Certification: Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation is required.
Strong understanding of foreign exchange markets, economic indicators, and BSP regulations.
Excellent analytical, communication, and client negotiation skills.
