The HR Business Partner (HRBP) acts as a strategic partner to business leaders by aligning people strategies with organizational objectives. The role supports workforce effectiveness through talent management, organizational development, employee relations, and change management initiatives that drive business performance and employee engagement.
The HRBP collaborates closely with leaders and cross-functional teams to strengthen organizational capability, improve employee experience, and ensure the effective implementation of HR programs and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Partnership
- Partner with business leaders to understand operational priorities and provide strategic HR support
- Align HR initiatives with business goals and workforce requirements
- Support organizational structure reviews, manpower planning, and team effectiveness initiatives
- Provide guidance on people-related risks, opportunities, and workforce challenges
Talent Management
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition teams to support hiring plans and talent requirements
- Drive performance management processes including goal alignment, coaching, and performance reviews
- Support succession planning and development of high-potential employees
- Assist leaders in identifying capability gaps and workforce development needs
Learning, Development & Engagement
- Support the implementation of leadership and employee development programs
- Promote employee engagement initiatives and culture-building activities
- Partner with stakeholders to strengthen organizational culture and employee experience
- Facilitate initiatives that improve collaboration, productivity, and retention
Employee Relations
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters including conflict resolution, disciplinary cases, and policy interpretation
- Ensure consistent and fair application of company policies and procedures
- Support investigations and resolution of workplace concerns
- Maintain positive employee relations aligned with company values and labor standards
Change Management & Organizational Effectiveness
- Support business transformation and organizational change initiatives
- Assist in implementing HR programs, systems, and process improvements
- Drive adoption of new policies and organizational practices
- Partner with leaders to manage change communication and workforce transition activities
HR Analytics & Reporting
- Analyze HR data and workforce metrics to support business decisions
- Monitor trends related to attrition, engagement, performance, and manpower movement
- Prepare reports and insights for leadership discussions and planning
- Recommend data-driven HR solutions and improvement initiatives
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR governance standards
- Maintain awareness of regulatory updates and HR best practices
- Support audit and documentation requirements related to HR processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field
- MBA or postgraduate studies are an advantage
- At least 5 years of experience in HR Business Partnering, HR Generalist, or strategic HR roles
- Strong background in employee relations, talent management, and organizational development
- Experience supporting business leaders in fast-paced or growth-oriented environments
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices
- Experience using HRIS and HR analytics tools is an advantage
