Patrol Officer

$18.50 - $26.83Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Patrol Officer to join our team. The Patrol Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the hospital premises by conducting regular foot and mobile patrols, maintaining detailed reports, and interacting professionally with both internal and external personnel, patients, & families. This role involves managing assigned security equipment, maintaining patrol vehicles, and effectively communicating with supervisors to ensure operational efficiency. The officer is expected to provide excellent customer service while adhering to company standards and safety protocols.

• High School Diploma, GED or related vocational training is required.
• Associates degree in law enforcement, criminal justice or military service is preferred.

• 1 year of experience with knowledge of private security functions obtained through education or work experience such as military, public safety or fire department is preferred.

• Valid state driver’s license is required.
• Successfully complete the Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) Certification within the first 90 days of employment is preferred, if applicable.
