Responsibilities

→Conduct on-site inspections of critical equipment and address failures that impact hotel operations.
→Review and approve purchase orders that are essential to hotel operations.
→Consult with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, construction issues, MEP systems, Testing & Commissioning (T&C), and Fire & Life Safety.
→Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients on behalf of the owner or developer.
→Plan, organize, and direct activities related to the maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.
→Prepare and submit cost estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports.
→Develop and implement quality control programs.
→Provide advance equipment specifications and support preferred purchasing decisions.
→Maintain communication with corporate colleagues.
→Mentor and guide employees to ensure adherence to service standards and procedures.
→Collaborate with Human Resources to recruit, interview, and hire Engineering team members.
→Report to work on time, wearing the appropriate uniform and name badge at all times, while adhering to the company's personal appearance standards.
→Budget Planning and Control
→Comply with the Human Resources Policies and Procedures established in the Associate Handbook.
→Fully understand and comply with the company’s policies regarding fire safety, hygiene, health, and occupational safety.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related field of study
5+ years' of management experience in the field
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Project Management Skills
