Build Your Career. Lead From the Front. Make an Impact.
Are you someone who takes pride in doing great work, solving problems, and taking care of customers? Do you have experience in water restoration, or carpet cleaning, and want an opportunity to grow into a leadership role?

Voda Cleaning & Restoration is looking for a Lead Carpet Cleaning Restoration Technician to join our team.

This is more than a technician position. We’re looking for someone who wants to take ownership of their work, deliver an exceptional customer experience, continue developing their skills, and help set the standard for our field team as the business grows.

What You’ll Do
As a Lead Carpet Cleaning & Restoration Technician, you’ll play an important role in both serving our customers and helping build a strong field operation.

You will:
  • Perform professional carpet, upholstery, floor, and specialty cleaning services.
  • Assist with and perform water mitigation and restoration services.
  • Evaluate job-site conditions and communicate recommended services to customers.
  • Deliver a professional, positive customer experience from arrival through job completion.
  • Complete work orders, photos, job notes, moisture logs, and other required documentation accurately and on time.
  • Properly operate, clean, and maintain company equipment, tools, and vehicles.
  • Follow company safety procedures, service standards, and job-site protocols.
  • Identify appropriate opportunities for additional services that may benefit the customer.
  • Support and help train additional technicians as the team grows.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional certifications.
  • Cross-train in additional restoration services, which may include mold remediation, fire and smoke restoration, odor control, and other specialty services.
  • Lead by example and contribute to a positive, accountable, team-oriented culture.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who combines a strong work ethic with excellent communication and a willingness to learn.

Preferred qualifications include:
  • 1–5 years of experience in water mitigation/restoration
  • Strong customer-service and communication skills.
  • Dependable, professional, and comfortable taking ownership of assigned work.
  • Ability to learn new processes, equipment, technology, and service techniques.
  • Comfortable using a smartphone or tablet for job documentation and communication.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with cleaning and restoration work.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
IICRC certifications such as CCT or WRT are a plus, but not required. We value candidates who are willing to learn and continue developing their skills.

What Success Looks Like
The right person for this role:
  • Shows up ready to work and can be counted on.
  • Communicates professionally with customers and teammates.
  • Takes pride in the quality of their work.
  • Looks for solutions instead of waiting to be told what to do.
  • Is coachable and open to feedback.
  • Treats customers' homes and businesses with care and respect.
  • Wants to continue learning and advancing as the company grows.
  • Understands that a great customer experience is just as important as great technical work.
Grow With Us
We’re building more than a cleaning and restoration company—we’re building a team.

For the right person, this position can provide opportunities to develop technical expertise, earn industry certifications, take on additional responsibility, help train future team members, and grow into leadership positions as the business expands.
If you're looking for a hands-on career where your work matters, your growth is encouraged, and you can help shape the future of a growing local business, we'd love to meet you.
