ServiceMaster Restore is looking for an experienced Water Damage Crew Chief to join our restoration team.

This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for someone with professional water mitigation experience who understands structural drying, can lead technicians, communicate with customers, and take ownership of a jobsite.

What You'll Do

  • Lead technicians on residential and commercial water losses.
  • Perform water extraction and structural drying.
  • Inspect affected areas and identify moisture migration.
  • Use moisture meters and other inspection equipment.
  • Set up and monitor air movers, dehumidifiers, and air filtration devices.
  • Perform controlled demolition and containment.
  • Protect customer property and maintain clean, safe jobsites.
  • Direct daily crew activities and maintain production standards.
  • Communicate professionally with customers.
  • Complete accurate photos, moisture readings, and daily documentation.
  • Use Restore 365, Mitigate, DocuSketch, and other company technology.
  • Ensure crews follow safety procedures and company standards.
  • Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
  • Train and develop newer technicians.
  • Communicate job conditions and changes to the Supervisor or Project Manager.
  • Participate in emergency/on-call response as scheduled.
Experience & Certifications

We're looking for professional experience with:

Water Extraction • Structural Drying • Moisture Mapping • Drying Equipment • Demolition • Containment • Documentation

IICRC WRT certification is strongly preferred.

Candidates with additional certifications such as ASD and AMRT are especially encouraged to apply.

Commercial water-loss experience is a plus.

Requirements

  • Professional water-damage/restoration experience.
  • Knowledge of water extraction and structural drying.
  • Experience with moisture meters and drying equipment.

  • Strong documentation and mobile technology skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
