Responsibilities
~1 min readPrepares, plates, serves, and transports food and supplies to provide a high level of satisfaction for patients, family members, physicians, team members, and the public. Responsible for timely, accurate, and courteous service. Responsible for associated sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety. Operates a variety of food service and computer equipment. Conducts advanced food service tasks such as but not limited to, call center agent, cashier, or deep equipment/station cleaning. Utilizes CBORD and/or Tray Essentials software and its reporting capabilities as a call center agent. Utilizes POS equipment, product management, and/or reporting capabilities as a cashier. Utilizes specialized equipment for advanced cleaning, including but not limited to floor scrubbing machines and pressure washers. Mentors and trains team members and is cross trained within the food service department in various roles across patient service, retail service, and/or production.
Requirements

- Requires ServSafe Handler Certification within 90 days of hire.
- Requires the ability to operate kitchen equipment.
- Requires basic computer skills.
- Must be able to wear protective equipment/clothing required by the environment or government regulations such as gowns, gloves, goggles, rubber-soled closed-toe footwear, etc.
- Requires adherence to local health regulations and safety requirements to produce safe food for consumption.
- Requires the ability to climb ladders.
- Physical requirements to include: reaching, standing for long periods of time, squatting, bending, carrying and/or lifting supplies and equipment weighing 35 lbs. or more, up to 80% of the time.
Nice to Have
~1 min read- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience is preferred.
