Adjunct Faculty, Artificial Intelligence and Analytics

• →Perform instruction related duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies and procedures of the college.
• →Employ a range of suitable strategies to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, encourage active learning in all students, maintain proper class related records, promptly assess student coursework, and apprise students of progress.
• →Articulate, current within his or her discipline, and demonstrate a passion for teaching and learning with related professional experience.
• →Incorporate Biblical principles into the content area
• →Communicate with all IWU constituents in a professional and academic manner. - (Essential)

• Doctoral degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, or related field. Or a Doctorate at 18 graduate hours in the field. Applicants with a Master’s degree and 5+ years of applied A.I. and/or analytics experience will be considered.

• 5+ years of experience in A.I., data science, and/or the integration of emerging technology into the business environment. This may include cross-disciplinary experience into technology application in particular fields such as healthcare, finance, manufacturing, business, and education.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.
• Applicants with at least five years of relevant work experience in Data Analytics/Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence,
• Information Technology are invited to apply. Teaching experience in cross-cultural settings preferred (not required)

• Ability to model an active and mature personal faith in Jesus Christ
• Demonstrated subject matter expertise and active involvement in continuous education/scholarship in the field
• Passion and ability to teach effectively, including effective written and verbal communication
• Ability to motivate and connect with students of diverse ages, cultures, and backgrounds
• Ability to be engaged, reliable, and professional in a distributed work environment
• Proficiency in MS Office products and online Learning Management software
