Family Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Site Visitor - IN, MI, IL, OH, KY, IN

• →Conduct faculty site visits to FNP students as assigned (with option to accept or decline visit request).
• →Observe and evaluate student performance in a clinical setting.
• →Consult with the preceptor regarding students’ progress.
• →Assess the suitability of the preceptor and clinical environment.
• →Submit all evaluations to the course facilitator and the Division of Nursing.
  • →Complete a Faculty Evaluation form for the student.
  • →Complete a Faculty Evaluation form of the Preceptor’s effectiveness and Clinical Site appropriateness. - (Essential)

• Master of Science in Nursing
• Current Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner

• Minimum seven years’ work experience in the relevant business industry preferred
• Teaching experience preferred (Not required)

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
• Strong organization and word processing skills.
• Professional handling of confidential information.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills for effective interaction with students, faculty, and preceptors.
• Excellent written, oral, and problem-solving skills.
• Capacity to represent Indiana Wesleyan University, Division of Nursing, professionally.
