Director Procument Sourcing Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Set the China sourcing agenda: Define and execute a multi-year China sourcing roadmap aligned with global category strategies, business requirements, technology roadmaps, and Infineon’s localization priorities. Lead the team: Build, coach, and develop a high-performing sourcing team; set objectives, allocate resources, manage performance, strengthen succession, and foster an inclusive, accountable culture.  Build market intelligence: Establish a fact-based view of China supply markets, technology trends, cost structures, capacity, financial health, geopolitical exposure, and emerging suppliers; maintain categoryl and scapes and a pre-qualified supplier pipeline.  Deliver sourcing projects: Lead complex RFQ, cost modelling, negotiations, contracting, and award recommendations for materials, equipment, spare parts, and services across relevant procurement categories.  Strengthen resilience: Drive dual- and multi-sourcing, localization, business continuity, capacity assurance, and risk-mitigation plans for critical supply chains.  Develop suppliers: Drive supplier ecosystem development, localization, resilience, and cost competitiveness. Establish senior-level relationships with strategic suppliers and drive measurable improvement in quality, cost, delivery, technology, sustainability, service, and responsiveness.  Govern the portfolio: Maintain transparent project pipelines, milestones, business cases, risks, decisions, and escalations; ensureclear ownership through effective RACI and review routines.  Manage stakeholders: Represent China sourcing in local, regional, and global procurement forums; align competing priorities and communicate recommendations to senior management.  Ensure compliance: Conduct all sourcing and market-intelligence activities in accordance with Infineon policies and applicable legal, antitrust, export-control, sanctions, information-security, intellectual-property, sustainability, and ethical requirements.  Drive continuous improvement: Improve sourcing methods, digital tools, data quality, reporting, and cross-category knowledge sharing; transfer successful China sourcing practices across the global organization. Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed  University degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable discipline; advanced degree is an advantage.  Typically 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, category management, procurement engineering, supplier development, or supply-chain management in an international industrial environment.  Demonstrated people-leadership experience and a strong record of leading cross-functional, cross-cultural teams through influence.  Strong knowledge of China supplier markets and manufacturing ecosystems; semiconductor, electronics, automotive, equipment,materials, or other high-technology industry experience is preferred.  Proven success in complex negotiations, should-cost or cost-structureanalysis, contracting, supplier qualification, localization, and risk management.  Ability to convert market insights and business needs into prioritized roadmaps, robust business cases, and measurable results.  Sound understanding of quality systems, supplier audits, business continuity, sustainability, intellectual-property protection, antitrust, export-control, and trade-compliance considerations.  Strong analytical and digital capability; confident use of procurement, ERP, reporting, and collaboration tools.  Fluent English and Mandarin Chinese, with excellent written, verbal, presentation, and senior stakeholder communication skills.  Willingness to travel within China and internationally as business needs require. #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
