Our Automotive Market Intelligence division provides research, insight, consulting and advisory services to organisations across the automotive value chain.

Our customers include manufacturers, aftermarket suppliers, distributors, dealer groups, workshop networks, service providers and industry organisations. Through market intelligence, data analysis and consulting expertise, we help customers better understand their markets, customers and growth opportunities.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Group CEO, the Country Manager will be responsible for defining and executing the UK growth strategy, developing key customer relationships and ensuring the successful delivery of market intelligence, research and consulting projects.

This role combines strategic leadership with a hands-on commercial approach and requires a strong understanding of the automotive aftermarket ecosystem.

Role Summary

The Country Manager will:

  • →Hold full P&L responsibility for the UK business.
  • →Drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • →Develop and implement the UK market strategy.
  • →Expand and strengthen relationships across the automotive aftermarket sector.
  • →Lead and develop the UK team.
  • →Ensure the successful delivery of market intelligence, research and consulting projects.
  • →Represent the business within the wider automotive industry.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve revenue, profitability and growth objectives.
  • Develop and expand the UK customer base.
  • Identify new commercial opportunities across the automotive aftermarket.
  • Build long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and industry decision-makers.
  • Translate customer needs into commercially valuable solutions and deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Define and implement the UK growth strategy.
  • Align local priorities with wider Group objectives.
  • Adapt products, services and consulting offerings to meet changing market requirements.
  • Identify emerging market trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Oversee the delivery of market intelligence, research and consulting projects.
  • Ensure the highest standards of quality, analytical rigour and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor business performance through KPIs and implement corrective actions when required.
  • Ensure data integrity and the effective translation of market insight into customer value.
  • Manage and develop the UK team.
  • Create a high-performance, customer-focused culture.
  • Support employee development and succession planning.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the London office.
  • Act as a recognised ambassador for the business within the UK automotive market.
  • Attend industry conferences, customer events and networking activities.
  • Develop and maintain a strong profile across the automotive aftermarket sector.

Requirements

8+ years' experience within:

    • Automotive Aftermarket
    • Automotive Market Intelligence
    • Automotive Research
    • Automotive Consulting
    • Automotive Information Services
  • Proven track record of commercial growth and business development.
  • Strong network across the UK Automotive Independent Aftermarket (IAM).
  • Experience selling market intelligence, consulting, insight or advisory-led solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong sales, negotiation and account development skills.
  • Experience managing business performance, budgets and KPIs.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical capability and comfort working with data and insight.
  • Ability to transform customer needs into concrete business proposals and sales results.
  • Experience leading and developing teams.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Existing relationships with OEMs, suppliers, distributors, dealer groups and workshop networks.
  • Public speaking and industry presentation experience.
  • Additional European language skills.
  • Experience operating within an international organisation.
