Location: Romania
The Technical Content Writer is responsible for ensuring our support advocates and engineers have access to the readiness materials they need to support our customers/partners. Support readiness materials consist of training modules (managed by WW Learning), knowledge base articles, and other similar or related artifacts that provide the support advocates and engineers with accurate, clear, and complete support procedures for resolving customer/partner queries. We are looking for the following services to perform the day-to-day activities required to research, write, edit, develop, publish, and control content for various channels either directly or by partnering with other teams who are accountable for certain steps of the process. Knowledge Management (KM) spans the entire content lifecycle, from scoping and requirements through publishing. The team aggregates and augments content to deliver a consistent, global content experience that increases customer and frontline (advocates & engineers) usage and satisfaction while reducing the cost of doing business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Research, write, edit, and develop support readiness materials including training modules, knowledge base articles, and other related artifacts.
2. Manage content production process ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
3. Create clear and concise technical documentation suitable for support advocates and engineers.
4. Improve and maintain the quality of existing content through regular review and updates.
5. Scrub and continuously improve content items to ensure accuracy and relevance.
6. Coordinate with various Lines of Business (LOB) to gather and integrate content requirements.
7. Attend LOB meetings to understand content needs and align strategies accordingly.
8. Conduct publishing quality checks to ensure content meets specified standards before dissemination.
9. Generate volume reports to track content production and consumption metrics.
Required Skills:
1. Proven experience in content management, preferably in a technical support environment.
2. Strong proficiency in content production processes including research, writing, editing, and development.
3. Excellent technical writing and editing skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
4. Ability to maintain and improve content quality through regular review and updates.
5. Experience in scrubbing and continuous improvement of content items to ensure accuracy and relevance.
6. Knowledge of Line of Business content coordination processes.
7. Willingness to attend and actively participate in LOB meetings to understand content requirements.
8. Familiarity with publishing quality checks to ensure content meets specified standards.
9. Proficiency in generating volume reports to track content production and consumption metrics.
10.Help design/improvise Style guide based on the project requirement.
11. Help do Editorial review as an when required for the project.
12. Collaborate with documentation peers to advance the state of the art in documentation.
13. Utilizing AI/other ways in improving the Efficiency of Content writing work.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Certification in content management or technical writing.
2. Experience working in a multinational organization with global content delivery requirements.
