We are looking for a Lead Quality Engineer – Strategy & Assurance to own our quality strategy and ensure our SaaS solution meets the highest standards of reliability and business value. In this role, you will serve as the essential bridge between technical quality execution and business objectives, partnering closely with stakeholders to define quality metrics and shape testing strategies. Working within a small, collaborative team, you will drive strategic quality alignment while remaining ready to support hands-on testing when needed.

  • Drive Quality Strategy: Partner with product managers, business stakeholders, and development leadership to translate business goals into clear, actionable testing strategies and define what success looks like for each initiative.
  • Lead Test Planning & Execution: Design and execute comprehensive test plans—including functional, regression, exploratory, and acceptance testing—particularly for high-priority or business-critical features.
  • Advocate for Quality: Serve as the quality voice in planning and requirements discussions, identifying potential risks early and ensuring testability is built into features from the start.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with developers and automation-focused quality engineers to ensure manual and automated testing efforts complement one another seamlessly.
  • Optimize Processes: Define, refine, and monitor QA processes, standards, and quality metrics to champion a quality-first culture across the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • You have 5+ years of leadership experience in software quality assurance, with a demonstrated progression into strategic or lead quality roles.
  • You possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • You have a proven track record of developing test strategies from scratch for complex, cloud-based SaaS applications and aligning those efforts with business outcomes.
  • You are highly skilled in hands-on functional and exploratory testing across both web and API surfaces.
  • You are a strategic thinker and confident communicator who thrives in ambiguity, brings structure to complexity, and can translate technical quality concerns into business language.
