Intact’s Global Specialty Lines business spans across more than 20 verticals in four distinct markets: U.S., Canada, UK and Europe. The following opportunity is for our U.S. team.

We currently have an opportunity for an IT Intern to join our Corporate IT team based in our Canton, MA office. The projected start date is early June 2027, and the internship will last approximately 8-10 weeks. We are seeking motivated and technically savvy students who are eager to learn, innovate, and contribute to a successful IT team. In this role you will have the opportunity to be a member of an Agile Scrum team and experience the full systems development life cycle on a variety of applications. 

• →As a Scrum team member you will partner with a motivated team of professionals to design, develop, test, and implement a variety of solutions that may include Business Intelligence (reports, ETL, cubes), web applications, web services, and scripting.
• →Diagnose and fix problems as they arise.
• →Communicate appropriately to a variety of audiences, both technical and non-technical, across the company.
• →Learn as much as you can.

• Competency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Some relational database experience 
• Ability to write queries
• Understanding of tables, views, stored procedures, and keys
• Experience with MS SQL Server is preferred

As a Co-op / Intern, you must be working towards a bachelor's degree and have taken some Computer Science coursework or have relevant self-taught experience. 

Compensation: 

Salary Range: $21 - $23 per hour
