Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is a community-minded, forward-thinking behavioral health organization helping people along the road to health and well-being. We serve Southeastern and Central Ohio with a comprehensive array of behavioral health and other services – working with local partners to promote healthy people and strong communities. Desired availability Monday-Friday, with some on-call duties
Independent licensure as a counselor or social worker is required for this role
The salary range for the position is $85,000.00 to $95,000.00 annually, based on experience
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for performance management, recruitment, onboarding, and team development, including but not limited to implementing progressive discipline when necessary
- Provide advanced clinical leadership, supervision, consultation, and guidance to clinical staff including youth residential therapists, care coordinators, and interns ensuring services are delivered in accordance with organizational standards, evidence-based practices, and applicable regulatory requirements
- Provide clinical oversight of the program’s assessment, treatment planning, service delivery, and discharge planning process, ensuring services are individualized, strengths-based, trauma informed, and responsive to the needs of each youth and family
- Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical practices, procedures, workflows, and programmatic initiatives designed to improve quality, safety, treatment outcomes, and regulatory compliance
- Lead and facilitate weekly treatment team meetings, ensuring clinical needs, progress, barriers, safety concerns, family engagement, and treatment recommendations are appropriately addressed and documented Develop and oversee a comprehensive clinical training and professional development strategy for assigned team members, including training related to suicide prevention, self-harm, trauma, crisis intervention, therapeutic interventions, documentation, and other identified clinical needs.
- Monitor the quality and effectiveness of clinical services through chart reviews, documentation audits, treatment plan reviews, clinical outcome data, incident trends, and other quality indicators, identifying opportunities for improvement and development corrective action plans as needed
- Ensure the residential environment maintains a therapeutically supportive, safe, respectful, and engaging programming, and provide clinical guidance to team members regarding therapeutic responses to youth behavior and group dynamics.
- Oversee the clinical assessment process for new residents and ensure comprehensive assessments are completed and used to inform individualized treatment plans, clinical interventions, risk assessments, and service recommendations.
- Provide leadership in the development and ongoing review of individualized treatment plans, ensuring goals are measurable, clinically appropriate, youth and family centered, and aligned with identified needs and desired outcomes.
- Provide ongoing coaching, consultation, and performance feedback to assigned team members, supporting professional growth, competency, accountability, and adherence to treatment models and organizational expectations
- Promote a culture of clinical excellence, collaboration, accountability, continuous learning, and family centered care across the program.
- Serve as a senior clinical liaison between the residential program and families, referral sources, community partners, and resources to promote coordinated and effective care
- Provide clinical leadership during crises situations, ensuring appropriate risk assessment, intervention, documentation, communication and follow up occur in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Participates in the on-call rotation and provides clinical consultation and support for urgent or high-acuity situations outside of regular business hours.
- Reviews and provide clinical oversight of incident reports, ensuring appropriate clinical follow up, identification of trends, communication with administrative and referral sources, and implementation of corrective or preventative actions when indicated
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
Education/Licensure:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required
- A bachelor's degree in behavioral health or a related field is required
- A master’s Degree in a clinical specialization is required
- A license in Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling, or Social Work in the state of Ohio is required
- An independent licensure (LPCC, LPCC-S, LISW, or LISW-S) in the state of Ohio is required
Experience:

3-4 years of experience working with adolescents or young adults with mental health and substance use disorders is required

1 year of supervisory, intake, and diagnosis experience is required

Experience in the clinical intake and assessment process is required

Experience with multi-need individuals and families is required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Advanced communication skills, both oral and written is required

Advanced organizational skills are required

A broad knowledge of community service systems is required

Willing to participate in and lead cross-systems team-building activities is required

The ability to bill Medicaid without restrictions is required
-
A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle are required
-
An appropriate level of auto insurance coverage is required
-
Able to effectively communicate through verbal/written expression is required
-
Must be able to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer is required
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times is required
