Intel's Integrated Photonics Solutions (IPS) organization is driving the future of high-performance computing and networking through the development of advanced optical interconnect technologies built on Intel's silicon photonics platform. We are seeking a highly motivated Silicon Photonics Wafer Test Automation Development Engineer to support the development, implementation, and optimization of wafer-level testing solutions for integrated photonic devices.

• →Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated wafer-level test systems for silicon photonics devices, including optical coupling systems, wafer probing solutions, automation frameworks, and test software.
• →Develop and maintain software applications to support automated characterization and production testing of photonic integrated circuits (PICs) and optical components.
• →Collaborate closely with photonic device designers to implement and validate test algorithms that accurately characterize device performance.
• →Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to ensure test outputs meet data quality, processing, and reporting requirements.
• →Create, update, and maintain test procedures, specifications, and documentation while providing training and technical guidance to technicians.
• →Work with laboratory technicians to monitor, troubleshoot, and improve test system performance, reliability, and throughput.
• →Drive effective cross-functional collaboration with design, manufacturing, process integration, and quality teams to support product development and production goals.
• →Demonstrate strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills while managing multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
