PACKER B

TITLE: Packer B   POSITION OBJECTIVE: Safely and efficiently package finished products according to production and quality standards while maintaining a clean, organized work area and supporting the overall productivity of the production team.   QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma/GED is preferred Must demonstrate good oral and written communication skills Experience in manufacturing environment with packaging is preferred Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions   JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Must follow all plant policies, procedures, and safety rules & regulations, whether written or communicated verbally Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area in accordance with plant housekeeping standards Perform required inspections and monitor product quality to ensure customer specifications are met Properly package and prepare finished goods for shipment to customers Accurately complete required paperwork and documentation in a timely manner Attend and actively participate in required safety training and other training programs Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by designated personnel   WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION: Inside environmental conditions, protected from weather conditions, not necessarily temperature conditions Subject to elevated noise, causing reason to shout in order to be hard above the noise level. Subject to vibration, exposure fluctuating movements of the body.
