We’re hiring a Linen Distribution Center Attendant to Live. Work. Explore. at the south rim of the Grand Canyon!

• →The Lodging department is committed to creating a culture of guest service at Grand Canyon National Park. All our roles in the lodging department, regardless of front or back of house, are considered guest facing/guest service positions. Our expectation is that this role will play a key part in achieving exceptional guest service.  
• →Unload processed linens from Mission bins and prepare linen for delivery to housekeeping, including stocking shelves and loading bins. 
• →Prepare soiled linen for shipment, including loading and staging Mission bins for pick up.  
• →Meet daily shift production standards so as not to delay housekeeping. 
• →Perform Uniform Clerk duties as assigned. 
• →Assist with uniform inventories as assigned. 
• →Strictly follow all company and departmental policies and procedures, including lifting, loading and handling of linens, use of machinery, handling of biohazard designated linens and uniforms, and use of detergents and cleaners. 
• →Maintain safe body mechanics and a safe work zone while working and report any unsafe conditions immediately. 
• →Wear required personal protective equipment or weather appropriate attire for work in all four (4) weather seasons/conditions. 
• →Adhere to all Sustainability programs as trained. 
• →Assist with housekeeping duties of Linen Distribution Center and Uniform Center. 
• →Other duties as assigned. 

• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, which include repetitive motion of all extremities and the back including continual bending, stooping, twisting, lifting, and long periods of standing/walking. 
• Ability to push or pull linen bins loaded with 200 to 250lbs of wet or dry laundry. 
• Ability to maintain high quality of work and high energy while taking more than 15,000 – 20,000 steps per work day at an elevation of 7,000 feet. 
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with and project the image of professionalism, friendliness and willingness to provide personalized service to our varied customer and employee base.  
• Maintain the company’s Core Values and Mission Statement in every day work and project this level of service to our guests. 

Physical Requirements include:

Constantly: Stand, walk, handle, bend, lift/carry up to 10 lbs.

Frequently: Reach outward/above shoulders, squat/kneel, lift/carry up to 100 lbs, push/pull up to 100 lbs.

Occasionally: Sit, climb, crawl.
