Responsibilities

→Conduct in-depth inspections of hydrotechnical structures including dams, levees, and spillways to ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
→Evaluate the design, construction, and operation of hydrotechnical systems, assessing their performance and safety features.
→Prepare detailed inspection reports that document findings, deficiencies, and recommendations for corrective actions.
→Communicate effectively with engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to discuss inspection results and facilitate project compliance.
→Monitor construction processes and methods, ensuring adherence to approved plans and specifications.
→Stay informed about new hydrotechnical technologies and industry best practices to enhance inspection methods.

As a Hydrotechnical Inspector, you possess keen analytical skills and have a strong commitment to ensuring the integrity of hydrotechnical systems.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Hydraulic, or Environmental Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in hydrotechnical engineering or inspections.
Strong understanding of hydraulic structures and relevant codes and standards.
Professional certification (e.g., PE or equivalent) is a plus.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Proficiency in the use of inspection tools and technologies.
