As an Investment Analyst within our Credit Team, you will own our offering called “Inyova Grow” from the investment side. Specifically, you will be responsible for the end-to-end analysis, underwriting, and monitoring of our debt investments.
Specifically, you will work on:
- Credit Analysis and Underwriting: Perform deep fundamental credit analysis on new impact project bonds.
- Structure & Covenant Review: Analyse capital structures, debt documentation, and legal frameworks. Evaluate financial covenants, security packages, and intercreditor dynamics to ensure robust downside protection.
- Portfolio Monitoring & Risk Management: Continuously monitor the financial health of the existing bond portfolio. Track interim results, key credit metrics (leverage, coverage ratios), and industry trends to identify potential credit migration or flags early on.
- Investment Committee & Reporting: Prepare high-quality credit memorandums and present your investment theses and risk assessments directly to Inyova’s Investment Committee.
As part of our credit team, you will work side-by-side with seasoned investment professionals and analysts supporting your work. You will succeed if you are thorough, intellectually curious, and possess an analytical mind geared toward downside protection.
- Credit experience
- Have gained solid professional experience of 3–5 years in project credit analysis, corporate credit analysis, leveraged finance, direct lending, or at a major credit rating agency. Experience in renewable energy or similar project credit analysis is a major plus.
- Are deeply passionate about the credit space, with a strong understanding of fixed-income instruments, debt structures, and loan documentation.
- Having a strong network to potential bond issuers for project sourcing in the renewable energy space is a strong plus.
- Professional skills
- Have a track record of taking ownership and initiative for a product and developing processes around it.
- Are highly proficient in financial modeling and corporate finance, with advanced Excel skills. Experience leveraging data tools (e.g., Python, SQL, VBA) to analyze large datasets is a significant plus.
- Are an analytical and critical thinker who can confidently dissect complex financial statements and distill qualitative business risks into clear investment arguments.
- Are a graduate of at least a Bachelor's degree, ideally in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a STEM subject, and/or actively pursuing a postgraduate finance designation (e.g., CFA, CAIA).
- Are a strong communicator with full proficiency in English. Fluency in German is a strong plus given our geographic focus (Switzerland, Germany). Knowledge of French is a plus.
