Responsibilities:
- Build electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies for lasers
- Build optical and fiber assemblies
- Reading blueprints or schematics
- Performs in-process quality checks
- Test and measurement
- Maintain cleanliness of work and common areas.
- Crosstrain in production process or area as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Meet assigned production metrics as defined by the Supervisor.
- Perform any and all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Perform basic setup, and troubleshooting of equipment as needed.
- Train other assemblers as assigned
- Wear appropriate cleanroom attire, work in a controlled manufacturing area requiring coats, hair and beard nets, gloves, and booties.
- Experience with Navision or similar ERP systems.
- Understanding of inventory processes and material handling.
- High-School education in Electronics
- Electronics, optics or fiber training and understanding
- Electronics, optics, fiber or component level assembly
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and schematics
- Data entry skills
- Regular and reliable attendance and the ability to work overtime are essential functions of this job
