Staff Accountant

This role will require being available for on-site work within the Isabella Bank footprint with a potential to work hybrid after the training period.

Performs a wide variety of accounting duties.

• →Prepare reports for management and the Board of Directors
• →Reconcile general ledger and internal checking accounts
• →Prepare accounting entries
• →Assist with the preparation of the monthly financial statements
• →Maintain a detailed record of fixed assets
• →Write reports using report writing software
• →Perform data analysis
• →Assist with the preparation of annual budgets
• →Prepare and assist in the filing of regulatory reports
• →Provide flexibility with work schedule as needed
• →Other job duties as assigned

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Previous work experience in an accounting position is preferred

• Strong computer skills, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to analyze large amounts of information

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
