ROYAL CARIBBEAN - 2ND ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

• →Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems onboard
• →Support operation of power generation and electrical distribution systems
• →Perform maintenance and repairs on shipboard electrical equipment
• →Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
• →Assist in installation and testing of new electrical equipment when required
• →Monitor system performance and ensure safe and efficient operation
• →Maintain daily work reports and update technical logs for the Chief Electrical Engineer
• →Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, ISM/ISO, SQM, and USPH standards
• →Respond to breakdowns and emergencies involving electrical systems
• →Coordinate with other engineering and technical teams for repairs and maintenance
• →Participate in safety drills and emergency procedures onboard
• →Ensure proper handling and use of electrical tools, equipment, and spare parts

• Must hold Electrical Studies certificate(s) or diploma(s) in area of technical specialty.
• Three or more years’ progressive electrical/technical experience and training in the electrical field.
• Minimum 21 years old
• Good level of English language.
• Previous experience in marine, offshore, or industrial electrical systems preferred
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution, control systems, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with shipboard safety regulations
• Ability to work in a multicultural and high-pressure environment
• Physically fit and able to participate in emergency response duties
