Food Service Assistant - Modbury Hospital

Our team is growing, and we are currently seeking motivated individuals to join us in the position of Food Service Assistant at Modbury Hospital (Modbury) on a Casual basis.

• →Available to provide leave coverage for morning, afternoon and late shifts as needed
• →Preparation and presentation of patient meals such as salads, sandwiches and drinks
• →Cleaning and sanitizing of patient meal trays, cutlery, crockery and trolleys
• →Preparation of workstations including assembly of items and stocking of consumables
• →Maintain a high standard of food services in accordance with Food Safety Legislation and Food Services Procedures

• Demonstrate a positive attitude and drive to deliver strong customer service
• Flexibility to work infrequent shifts across early mornings, afternoons and late shifts
• Food Safety Certificate is required for this role
• Ability to undergo a functional pre-employment medical
• Police Clearance, or ability to obtain, is essential
• DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC), or ability to obtain, is essential
• Evidence of immunisation for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Pertussis, Diphtheria, Hep B, Polio or willingness to obtain, as per SA Health Worker policy is essential
